"Nice treat when I’m in the mood for better tea"
I was in a relaxed mood when I made a cup, the tea tasted really nice. You can tell the quality is there, and it feels like something a bit more special than my usual everyday tea. It’s not exactly cheap, so I don’t order it all the time, but when I’m craving something a little nicer, it feels worth it

I had a little issue with my order, nothing huge, but I messaged support and expected it to take a while. They got back to me fast, which was nice, and they were really kind about the whole thing. No back-and-forth that made it more annoying than it needed to be, they just understood what I was saying and fixed it. It actually felt like a real person read my message instead of sending some generic reply, and I really appreciated that

The tea itself was really great... fresh, tasty, and exactly what I was hoping for. The packaging felt minimal, which I appreciated, but I do wish the shipping info had been a bit clearer about the eco side of things.

I ordered some matcha and sencha after reading through the descriptions, and they ended up tasting really fresh and pretty much how I expected. I was happy with the quality, and the packaging looked nice too. The only reason I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the delivery took a little longer than I was hoping for. Other than that, I had a good experience...

"Love the Tea, Hate the Shipping Dilemma"
I’ve ordered from Ippodo a few times now, i really do love their tea. It’s always fresh, packaged nicely, and feels like something I can count on. The only thing that gives me pause is the shipping cost. I want to stay loyal because I genuinely prefer their tea, but when I’m only looking to grab one or two small items, the shipping makes me second-guess it and sometimes wait longer than I’d like to reorder. It’s definitely not a bad experience overall. I just wish they had a cheaper shipping option or a lower free shipping threshold

I ordered a few teas from ippodotea, and to be fair, everything showed up exactly how I picked it. No wrong items, nothing missing, and even the sizes were correct. The order sheet matched what was in the box, which I definitely appreciated. That said, the whole process felt a little hands-off, like I was kind of ignored after placing the order. It worked out fine in the end, but a bit more communication would’ve made the experience feel better

I got this as a gift for my sister, the tea itself looked really nice. She liked it a lot, so no complaints there. But the shipping? Yeah, that felt slower than it needed to be. Like, I’m not expecting it to teleport to my door, but when something is meant to be a gift, you kind of want it to show up without making you sweat. Overall, cute gift and good tea, just wish the delivery was a bit quicker.

"First brew already made a difference"
My first impression was that Ippodo makes things feel really approachable. I’d been mostly guessing water temps before, and the brewing guide helped a ton. The first sencha I made using it came out so much smoother and didn’t have that bitter edge I was used to. Super easy to follow, nothing fussy. Really happy with both the tea and the instructions

I picked this up to get a better handle on brewing basics, it made things click quickly. It’s simple, easy to follow, and actually useful. To be fair, it’s more for beginners than someone already experienced, but for what it’s meant to do, it does the job really well.

I was happy browsing Ippodo Tea. So many options. Not just matcha, which was nice. Sencha, gyokuro, little smaller sizes too. Kind of makes it easier to try something new without overthinking it. The product pages were clear enough, and I found what I wanted quickly. Good selection overall. I’ll definitely order again

My order from Ippodo Tea arrived packed really well, which was a relief. Nothing was crushed, nothing leaked, and the tins were protected properly. The box looked neat too. So yes, credit where it’s due, the packaging was solid and I’m happy with that part
